This Privacy Policy applies to the Mantra Android app (the "App"), published by Mantra, Maharashtra, India ("we", "us", "our"). By using the App you agree to this policy. Please also read our Terms and Conditions.
02Information we collect
Information you give us
None. The App has no accounts, forms or sign-in, and we never ask for your name, email, phone number or contacts.
Information stored only on your device
- The mantra you selected and whether it is playing, so playback can continue in the background.
- How often our own sponsored ads were shown, so the same ad isn't repeated too often.
- The latest ad settings downloaded by the App.
This information never leaves your phone and is deleted when you uninstall the App.
Information collected automatically by third parties
To show ads, Google AdMob may automatically collect information from your device. See Advertising below.
03Advertising (Google AdMob)
The App is free and supported by ads from Google AdMob, a service of Google LLC. To show, measure and improve ads and to prevent fraud, Google may collect and process:

Consent (EEA, UK and Switzerland): If you are in these regions, the App shows Google's consent form before ads are loaded. You can accept, refuse or choose which purposes you allow. If you refuse, Google may show limited, non-personalised ads.

04Our own sponsored ads
Sometimes the App shows our own sponsored images or videos (for example, puja items or temple offers) instead of Google ads. To do this, the App downloads an ad settings file and the ad images or videos from our server.
- Like any website, the server may briefly record your IP address and the time of the request in standard technical logs.
- We do not use these logs to identify you, and we do not combine them with other data.
- Tapping a sponsored ad opens the advertiser's website in your browser. That website has its own privacy policy.
05App permissions

The App does not access your location, camera, microphone, contacts, photos or files.
07Your choices & rights
- Limit personalised ads: Android Settings โ Google โ Ads โ turn on "Opt out of Ads Personalisation", or delete your advertising ID.
- Change consent (EEA/UK): Clear the App's data or reinstall it, and the consent form will appear again.
- Remove all App data: Uninstall the App, or go to Settings โ Apps โ Mantra โ Storage โ Clear data.
- Your rights: Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or India's DPDP Act 2023), you may have the right to access, correct or delete your data. Contact us and we will help.
08Data retention & deletion
Data saved on your phone stays there until you clear the App's data or uninstall it. We do not keep any personal data on our servers. Technical server logs, if any, are deleted automatically within a short period. Data collected by Google is kept according to Google's retention policy.
09Children
The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
10Security
Ads and ad settings are loaded over secure HTTPS connections. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect the App and its users.
11Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The new version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continuing to use the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
